WHY PEOPLE WEAR SEAT BELTS IN CARS
WHY PEOPLE WEAR SEAT BELTS IN CARS
PEOPLE WEAR SEAT BELTS FOR SAFETY.THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY.
R1: AN IMPORTANT REASON IS IF PEOPLE DO NOT WEAR SEAT BELTS WHILE THEIR PARENTS ARE DRIVING AND YOU ARE STANDING.YOU WILL FALL OVER AND NOT GET UP.
R2: YOU NEED TO WEAR SEAT BELTS SO WHEN YOUR CAR CRASHES INTO ANOTHER CAR YOU WILL NOT FLY OUT OF THE CAR AND HIT THE WINDSCREEN.
R3: IF PEOPLE DO NOT PUT ON THEIR SEAT BELT THEY WILL BREAK THE LAW OF WEARING A SEAT BELT AND YOUR PARENT HAS TO PAY A FINE.
R4: IF ANOTHER DRIVER DRIVES THROUGH OR PASSED A RED LIGHT AND CRASHES INTO YOUR CAR YOU WILL BE SAFE BUT HURT.

Around the sun
planets glow
flying around
Its a space show
13 planets
Big and small
Jupiter is the biggest of them all
Ceres is the first dwarf planet seen
Pluto is the next smallest thing
Makemake has the niced sphere
This oval dwarf planet and far away from here
Eres is the biggest dwarf
It probably has aliens that can morph
Earth is where we live
All these legends are a fib
Venus is the hottest of them all
Mercury is the smallest ball
Mars is near the astoired belt
If it goes near the sun its gonna melt
around Saturn it has a ring
oh!what a beautiful thing
Uranus is full of ice
going somewhere warmer would be nice
I'll go to Neptune
I'll swim its water
you know what i do not bother
Don't forget about the sun
going near it is not fun
All these planets do have moons

Now you know about the solar system
and if they get destroyed i'll really miss them.

At the Tamaki Estuary

Our journeys With Fraser
OUR JOURNEYS WITH FRASER
This term I went to the tamaki estuary with my class and room 7.We got on the bus and when we got there we saw Fraser,Ashley,Hazel and Ava.First we had to go in 3 groups,the objective was to pick up rubbish and put it into the bucket and tally it.Ashley is a zoo keeper and Fraser is too.Hazel works works for the city council.We looked for birds with binoculars. Ashley told us the five c's.The first one is clear,the next one is clean,the next one is current,the next one is cool and the last one is creatures.The next thing we did was water testing..My group did the water clarity,where you have to look though the pipe and the other person moves the metal with a magnet till you can't see it anymore.The highest was 65-69.Next we did the water ph. Hazel put stream water in two buckets.We had to put the ph paper into the bucket and wait for 10 seconds.when we took it out it changed colors. We compared it to the box and it was 7.7 means fair.Next we tried to find creatures with magnifying glasses.We had to see if our water was good,bad or fair.We saw that it was bad.Next we had to go back to school to get ready to go home.We thanked Fraser and his team and went back.

Tamaki ending
This was the when we got back from the Tamaki Estuary.We went with the whole school. Fraser,Ashley and Hazel were there too.In the gift bags we got from them is a metal bottle,a pen and a book about animals that live in the steam.
